To protect rented equipment, prevent theft, loss, unauthorized use and manage contractual disputes, some equipment offered by Locadune may include geolocation or positioning devices such as AirTags, Bluetooth trackers or equivalent technologies.

These devices may collect:

  • the last known location of the equipment;
  • movement data;
  • proximity and recovery information;
  • data necessary to verify compliance with rental conditions.

This data is processed:

  • for the execution of the rental agreement;
  • under THEGLIDERY’s legitimate interest in protecting its equipment;
  • as contractual evidence in case of loss, theft, damage, prohibited use or disputes.

Location data may only be accessed by authorized THEGLIDERY personnel and, when necessary:

  • insurance providers;
  • administrative or judicial authorities;
  • technical recovery service providers.

Geolocation data is retained for a maximum period of 30 days after the end of the rental, except where:

  • legal obligations apply;
  • an incident or claim occurs;
